Seti Rafting, the warmest water of the Himalayan river in Nepal is ideal for those who seek an introduction to rafting and kayaking is an exploration on the peace, the most beautiful scenic area of the country side. The river journey is supposed to be the best area for beginner Kayakers or a warn up trip for intermediate kayakers.

Itinerary:

Day 01:
Early morning we meet you at 0630 am, in front of your hotel at Pokhara. As we collect every one, we have two hours of bus ride to village of Damauli (put – in – point)

At the river we take approx. One and half hours to set up every gear professionally. Then everyone will be fitted with the life jacket, spray jacket and helmet and the trip leader or safety kayaker gives an extensive lecture about safety and demonstrates you padding technique.

As we float down the Madi bridge, a narrow rocky waterways gives you a confidence of our guides how they command in adventure with an attitude. Most of your tie on the river will be scenic floats., exploring the river and enjoy the scenery. We normally stop for the lunch on the sandy beach just after an hour exploration. We prepare the lunch hygienically. after lunch we explore to the camp side.

The first day provides normally five hours of rafting (depend on the water volume and gradient of the river). We have few kilometer just gentle float, playing waves and great scenery. At the end of the day we set up the camp near by the village of Saranghat.

After setting the camp you will have hot cup of tea and coffee with biscuits followed by soup after that in your leisure time you can make your evening enjoyable with the books or you can play with music. The you will have a dinner.

Day 02:
Early in the morning about 0700 am. trip leader gives you a wake up call with cup of tea or coffee. After taking hearty breakfast, we load the gear on the raft and explore on Seti.

On the second rafting day there will be normally 2 hrs. of rafting (depend upon the volume of gradient of the river). to the take out off point. Just an hour exploration after the camp there are three mail rapids followed one into the next, is the best white water zone of Seti.

At the take out point, after unloading the gear from the raft you will have a lunch and we transfer you to Pokhara, Kathmandu or Chitwan National Park as your destination by local transportation.

Seasons:
October through mid-December and March through early May are the best times. It is possible in winter, but you have to watch out for hypothermia. During monsoon (June to September), the white water sections are dangerous, but gentler stretches are run-able.

It is an ancient trading route through to Tibet and now is also a popular trekking trail, The beautiful un-spoilt river offers, unique views of the Annapurna range, elusive wildlife, charming villages. thick and fat white water and deserted beach camp.

Itinerary:
The day before the departure date we meet the group at our Pokhara office to answer your question. You will be told where to meet for departure and details of the trips.

Day 01:
At around 8:00 A.M. we drive to the put in point at Nayapul. Throughout the drive we have wonderful view of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges as well a the Sacred Machhapuchhre. Upon arrival, we unload the gear, set up the rafts and after lunch you will have an extensive facture of safety briefing and demostrate you the padding technique by the Trip Leader. We meet the first class IV rapid in the first twenty minutes of being on the water, when out guides give you a confidence how they command in adventure with attitude. Safety Kayakers always lead the way as being a safety expert. The first rapids we run are “LITTLE BROTHER, BIG BROTHER, CAVE AND DAM” After crossing the Modi confluence we sep up the camp. We unload the gears and prepare dinner while you can play volleyball or experience and Adventure with music on enjoy the scenery. (Rafting 2-3 hours depends on volume and gradient of the river)

Day 02:
After breakfast ones the rafts are loaded we raft down to the river for a day with many class III & IV rapids. Like “EVIL REFUND, BLACK ROCK, LANDSLIDES” as well the views of the Annapurna I the Himchuli. The river is flowing by hanging from the cliff faces and gorge. Our camp site just below the village of Purti Ghat (Rafting Approx. 4-5 hours depend up on the volume and gradient of the river)

Day 03:
This section of the river also offers some white water with class III rapids. As we explore on the river we reach the small village of Seti Beni. We will have couple of hours rafting till we end the trip after lunch. Our private bus will take us back to Pokhara by early evening.

Seasons:
